Giving back

Specially enhanced for Wandsworth’s Borough of Culture year, the 2025 edition of Country on the Common will celebrate country music and dance culture, with our ‘Country Steps’ programme.

This fun, educational workshop series will introduce children and young people around Tooting Common to the rich culture and tradition of American country music and line dancing. Through movement, storytelling, and music, students will explore the roots of American cowboy heritage and the evolution of country music, all while learning authentic line dance routines in a lively, inclusive format.
