Giving back

In 2025, Country on the Common  partnered with Dance Days to take a lively series of line dancing workshops into a local primary school in Tooting.

These energetic sessions combined line dancing, storytelling, and music to spark creativity, build confidence, improve coordination, and get young people moving - all in line with the Wandsworth Moves Together strategy.

Bringing the spirit of Country music into classrooms was an inspiring extension of the festival, creating unforgettable moments for local children and giving them the chance to experience the rhythm, joy, and culture of Country - right in the heart of their community.

We are excited to be extending our local outreach programme this year, with details on our 2026 plans coming very soon.
